There is a fix for your CarDongle not able to connect to car screen.
First you need to (reset) the CarDongle by going to Settings and choosing the last icon on the left and then “Reset Device”
After that, once the CarDongle is reseted and working don’t connect it to the internet yet. If you connect it, it will download a new version of Google Play Services which will stop it from operating correctly. What you need to do is make a hotspot with your mobile with airplane-mode activated, so you can run Google Play Store without being asked to be connected to the internet.
Next, click on the dots on the right of Google Play Store and remove the tick of the Auto-updates, and also remove the auto- updates through wifi from the settings menu.
That’s it.. your problem will be fixed..
